About Us
Golden Placement Services was founded on a simple belief: no family should face the complexity of senior living decisions alone. We are two specialists, not a call center, and you will work with both of us.
Most families find us at the worst possible moment. A parent has fallen. A hospital has given two days' notice. A diagnosis has just landed and nobody knows what comes next. There is a great deal of information available online, and very little of it tells you which option is actually the right match for your parent.
We started Golden Placement Services to answer that question for you. We are a small, deliberately boutique agency: hands-on, local to Oregon, and answerable to the families we serve. We do the research and the driving. We accompany you on the tours. And before a tour is ever scheduled, we have already vetted the community and the neighborhood around it, so every place you walk into is one we would trust for our own family. All that is left for you to decide is which one feels like home.
We also ask the questions families do not think to ask, from what a longer commute will do to how often you visit, to how a community actually handles the needs your loved one has today. And when a family's situation is outside what we do well, we say so and point them to a senior resource that fits better.
The name is not an accident. These are supposed to be the golden years, and a move into care should not feel like the end of one's independence. Getting the placement right is what makes the difference.
Senior Placement Specialist
Determined to ensure families receive the highest standard of service when navigating senior housing, Diane founded Golden Placement Services and built the trusted Golden Girls team. An accomplished executive manager with a long record of success across multiple business ventures, she has served as both partner and Director of Operations in the senior housing industry, overseeing every stage of the transition process for seniors and their loved ones.
Clients and colleagues alike describe Diane as a rare blend of business savvy, perseverance, integrity, compassion, and vibrant personality. She is known for going the extra mile, every time, to support the families she serves. Beyond her professional achievements, she is the proud mother of two grown, successful children, whom she calls her “favorite accomplishment so far.”
Administrative Assistant
Stephanie is a graduate of the University of Oregon and began her career as an administrator with Golden Placement Services, a foundation that supported her growth as she later moved into sales and marketing while living in Austin, Texas. Now back in Oregon, she is excited to take the plunge and join the Golden Girls team as a placement specialist.
She feels fortunate to be guided by experienced mentors, especially her mother, Diane. Stephanie looks forward to contributing to a family-run business whose mission is to help your family navigate senior housing options with empathy, integrity, and compassion.
We treat every family like our own. Most people who call us are exhausted, guilty, and short on time. We meet them there.
Our services are always free to families. Seniors and their families never receive a bill from us, and we have no financial investment in any senior housing community.
