What level of care is right for you or your senior loved one? Each community outlines levels of care, along with the needs that make up each level. Exact arrangements vary by facility and by state. We help those in the Portland and Northern California areas. Placement specialists at Golden Placements LLC help connect seniors (55 and over) of ALL levels of care needs with a keen eye on future needs. Essentially these care needs are identified as Level 1 to Level 3 assisted living or 24-hour care Also known as “full-time home care,” “24/7 home care,” or “overnight care”. Alternately, “Live-in” caregivers live with older adults who may require special care or a private space. We connect you or your loved one with housing that is safe, reliable and within your personal budget. First, we listen to you. Next, we leverage our many years of solid relationships with our connections with senior facilities, property managers or facilitators, and community development partners to secure housing for those who are most vulnerable. We have a staff of dedicated professionals who are experienced case managers with assessment skills who help seniors find affordable aging care options to live their best life. In addition to finding initial housing our interest continues as we are truly interested in each individual as they age and their unique needs as aging progresses. You and your senior loved one’s needs is at the core of our work. Our focus is on providing services that acknowledge and affirm the dignity of each individual we working with. - We walk you through Permanent housing placement, including affordable housing search resources, move-in deposits, basic furniture and moving assistance
- Eviction prevention services, including rent assistance
- Bilingual English/Spanish staff and interpreters available for languages other than English and Spanish
We also provide resources to navigate acquisition of multiple community services. Our process is to ensure all seniors can continue to live their best life once we have helped you to secure housing. Transportation Services: Our City Transportation Services offer seniors amazing community benefits. Portland community public transportation services are designed to support Multnomah County seniors in maintaining their health and independence in living the best life. Applications can be tricky that’s why we help with understanding eligibility options and how to apply. We help you navigate the application and eligibility process to TriMet Lift Program which provides transportation to medical appointments, housing-related appointments, shopping or personal business. Continued Services provided: Our Continued Services are to offer support to you and your loved one after they move into permanent housing. Our goal is to keep flourishing and help them connect to our community. Continued services may include;
- Problem-solving help with their individual neighbors or landlords
- Coordinating the who’s who of their personal in-facility medical care
- Regular personal check-ins for loved ones who are socially isolated
- Helpful local resources with furnishing or scaling-down belongings
- Useful and safe community activities
- And whatever else is necessary to help your senior loved ones stay permanently housed and active

Gwenn McNeal2023-03-09Golden Placement Services answered! It’s really difficult to have to place an aging parent into a facility, but our family knew it was time. So I did some research, called 15 facilities, and managed to get on one wait list. I also called two companies that assist with finding homes, and they said they could not help. We were concerned we wouldn’t find a place, and if we did, it could be a very poor choice for our dad. Then I was given Golden Placement Services phone number and I spoke with a lovely woman named LaVona. That’s when everything changed! LaVona listened to our family’s needs, was understanding, and within days, she had arranged places for us to visit. How she found them, I don’t know, but she did! She met us there, listened some more, answered questions, and offered sage advice. We will forever be grateful for Golden Placement Services help in making this very tough decision. We absolutely know that my dad is in the right place to spend the rest of his life. And, we wouldn’t have that assurance today, had we not been connected with their wonderful service!
